Mission
The purpose of the Foundation is to support the 4-H program in Pottawatomie County. Thanks to generous contributions from the public, the Foundation Board of Directors is able to financially support educational ideas, programs, and scholarship request from Pottawatomie 4-H clubs, leaders, and youth.

4-H believes in the power of young people. 4-H sees that every child has valuable strengths and real influence to improve the world around us. As America’s largest youth development organization, 4-H empowers over 325 youth in Pottawatomie county with the skills to lead for a lifetime.
It’s a research-based experience that includes a mentor, a hands-on project, and a meaningful leadership opportunity. Based on their interests and guided by adult volunteers, youth develop their own pathway in 4-H. They select from a broad menu of local 4-H programs and projects. There are hands-on, learn by doing, opportunities for everyone.
